Three Great Options for Magellan GPS Navigation Systems

Global positioning system navigation devices are useful in that they help to bring real time information about locations to people for travel and navigation. Magellan is one of the top companies that work to create systems that people can use. Magellan GPS navigation systems have some of the best features for easy interaction and use. These programs use all of the twenty four satellites that make up the GPS system for improved accuracy. The Magellan Roadmate series is the most popular series that Magellan has. Here are three great products that Magellan has in that series.

The Magellan Roadmate 300 is the most basic of the products in the Magellan Roadmate series. The quality of this is similar to the quality of a GPS system that was preinstalled into a car. It features all the maps that are needed for travel and is easy to read and use. It can also be easily mounted onto a car windshield or dashboard, thus making it incredibly easy to install and use. It is also very affordable, but it is only something that has the most basic features that are needed in a GPS device.

The next step in the Magellan Roadmate series is that of the Magellan Roadmate 800. It has all of the features of the Roadmate 300 but it has additional features. Preinstalled maps are featured here along with a built in hard drive for memory storage and data retrieval. Other files can be stored into the Roadmate 800, thus adding to the “entertainment features,” including audio playback, that can be used in the Magellan Roadmate series.

The best and most top of the line product in the series is the Magellan Roadmate 2000. This has a full touch screen interface that is especially sensitive to touch and can therefore make it easier to use without damaging the screen. Visual guides that are covered throughout the entire screen can help, as they are listed on a turn by turn basis for easy navigation. Voice guides and multi-destination routing services are also featured here. There are more than a million points that have been programmed into the Roadmate 2000 as well for easy lookup when traveling.

There is one thing to consider about all of these systems offered by Magellan. Not all cars will be able to handle integrated GPS systems. However, it is easy to install and set up any of the Magellan systems mentioned here onto a car without having to spend a great amount of money. Of course, the higher end models do cost more.

Those are some great Magellan GPS navigation systems to look into. The Magellan Roadmate series is clearly one of the best forms of GPS navigation systems to check out. With these great options it can be seen how Magellan has become one of the best companies in the world of GPS technology.
